iPad 2, does it appears as you were hoping for?
Yesterday, before iPad 2 was released, I saw an iPad 2 picture in a website, which imagined and designed by an iPad fan. This picture shows the back of the 2nd generation iPad with a rear facing camera, round diminishing edges and redesigned speakers. It has everything we have heard about iPad 2.
Now, iPad 2 has really come out! Does it looks like just as you were expecting to? Let's just see how amazing it is!
Thinner and lighter
This new generation iPad is 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter than the former, so it feels even more comfortable in your hands. And it makes surfing the web, checking email, watching movies, and reading books so natural, you might forget there's incredible technology under your fingers.
FaceTime
FaceTime on iPad 2 makes it the next best place to see your favorite face — talking, smiling, and laughing back at you. You could be anywhere, they could be anywhere. With a tap, your iPad 2 calls someone else's iPad 2, iPhone 4, new iPod touch, or Mac over Wi-Fi. The big, beautiful iPad display is a great place for a face, because you can really see it. Not a smile or laugh goes unnoticed, especially when iPad goes around the room and everyone waves hello.
With two built-in cameras, one on the front above the display and one on the back, you can switch between them anytime during a call. The front camera faces you, for saying hello. The back camera faces what's in front of you, for showing off where you are, who you're with, or what you just splurged on at the mall. And if something funny happens on your end, your friend can see it, too.
iPad Smart Cover
The Smart Cover and iPad 2 were made for each other. It not only makes your iPad 2 looks great(it has ten bright colors), but also brings even better moves as it can perfectly act as Keyboard stand, FaceTime and video stand.
Keyboard stand: The Smart Cover folds into the perfect typing stand. Its magnetic hinge holds iPad in place so you can type quickly and comfortably.
FaceTime and video stand: Set up for hands-free video calling — or watching. Just lean iPad against the Smart Cover for a sturdy upright stand.
Dual-core A5 chip
Two powerful cores in one A5 chip mean iPad can do twice the work at once. You'll notice the difference when you're surfing the web, watching movies, making FaceTime video calls, gaming, and going from app to app to app. Multitasking is smoother, apps load faster, and everything just works better.
