As a camera lover, I am purchasing a Panasonic HDC-TM700 video camera that shoots in 1080 60p, 60i and 24p, in the AVCHD codec.
I read reviews of the TM700 carefully, and decided that it was a very good usable camera for the price, and with its 35mm lens and 3 cmos chips, that it produced good quality 1920x1080 images, even in low light).
Good:
+ Very good low-light video quality
+ Full set of manual features
+ 1080/60p recording option
Bad:
- Difficult editing 1080/60p, 1080/50p
- 1080/60p, 1080/50p is not compatible with Mac
- Small frame (totally relative statement)
- Some edge artifacts in video
The manual control and video shooting quality on the HS700 camcorder is great, but it comes out with a problem that I could not import the Panasonic HDC-HS700 mts to Final Cut Pro x for editing.

Connect Panasonic HDC-HS700 with iMac/MacBook Pro and transfer AVCHD.mts files from camcorder memory card to Apple hard drive disk.
