Rotate/Flip Vidoes on Mac
How to rotate/flip a video clip you took vertically?
I recently received many questions about how to rotate/flip avi, mp4, avchd video clip taken with JVC, Canon, Panasonic camcorders or iPhone vertically because they held cameras upside-down while shooting, I then began research for video editor software based on the highest rating for "ease of use", chose Video Editor for Mac.
"I took a video clip when the camera was held vertically, and when downloaded it to my mac, it was 90 degrees flipped."
"Hey, I just shot a mov movie with my digital camera, but I did so with the camera rotated. Can you use QuickTime Pro on it for me, and rotate it the way it's supposed to be?"
Apple doesn't include a Rotate tool in imovie suites. Fortunately, there's an excellent freeware solution-Video Editor for Mac which you can download and install that adds a rotate/flip option to iMovie on mac os x.
