Do you also come across similar hassle? And want to play RM video files on HDTV via Apple TV. When you read the ATV specs, you may notice that Apple TV only support limited file formats like H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG. Obviously, RM can’t be supported by Apple TV. That’s why you get the error message.

Make preparation:

Load .rm video files

Trim video (not required)

Go to "Edit" menu and click "Trim" tab to clip the source video into your desired segment by specifying the starting and ending time.

Choose "Apple TV video" as output file format

Select "Apple TV video H.264 1280x720 (*.mp4)" under the drop-menu of "Profile".

Convert RM to Apple TV
