Can FiLMiC Pro and VLMC replace iMovie
iMovie is a powerful video editing software sold by Apple for the Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It can import video files to the Mac either using the FireWire interface on most MiniDV format digital video cameras or the computer's USB port. Besides, It can also import photo files from hard drive. Therefore, the user can do some edition to the photo files and video clips such as adding titles, music, and effects, adjusting color contrast, and so on.

It's got to be able to create trailers for home movies, with additional control over audio, instant replay as well as flash and maintain effects, facial recognition, news themes, and the capability to watch the video on a Mac, iPad, iPhone/iPod touch, or Apple TV, and also sharing on Facebook and YouTube.
