"Nokia Lumia 800 is on the way, I think I will get it? But I do not know whether I will play my camcorder video with it, say avchd files from Canon hf r11, any help?"

Nokia built the partnership with Microsoft in February this year and borne fruit just eight months later with the launch of the Nokia Windows Phone series(Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710).

The Nokia Lumia 800 supports playing HD video, but obviously, all Smartphone can not work with AVCHD, MTS. M2TS. MOD, MOV etc video from Canon camcorder, so if you want to import AVCHD video to Nokia Lumia 800/710 for playing, you will need to convert the AVCHD files to MP4, 3GP etc first.
