How to Edit/Crop/Trim/Join/Rotate/Flip MP4 Files

Step 1Add MP4 Videos

Download iOrgsoft MP4 Editor Mac, install and run it on your Mac, and then you will see the intuitive interface (basic version) as the screenshot here.

Next, hit "Add Files" button to import your MP4 files to the editor. Thanks to the wide-range of video formats support, you can also add almost all other videos like MKV, MOV, FLV, WMV, and so on to the Video Editor.

 
 
 

Step 2Crop/Rotate/Flip MP4

In the main panel, drag the square to choose the exact area you need. Besides, you can fill in the blank columns in the "Crop" pane to fine tune the crop value. You can also set the output video ratio like Original, Full, 16:9, 4:3 in the "Zoom" drop-down list.

Under the video windows, there're three sets of buttons. If you need to rotate the MP4 video by 90 degrees, or flip it horizontally/vertically, just locate and click the 3rd set of buttons.

 
 
 

Step 3Trim, Merge MP4 Video Clips

To trim MP4 files, you should together use the timeline control and the 2nd set of buttons under the video windows. Simply drag the triangle sliders, or click the "[" / "]" icon to set the clip's duration time. You can also adjust the duration in the "Start Time" and "End Time" columns. After that, click the "[·]" icon to add a new segment.

If you want to merge several video clips into one, click the "<<" button next to the "About" menu on the upper tool bar to open the imported files list, select the clips you want to merge by checking the boxes, and then check the "Merge into one file" box next to the "Zoom" list on the lower tool bar.

 
 
 

Step 4Set Video Effect & Output Format

In the "Effect" pane, you can adjust the output video's effect such as Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, while in the "Special Effect" pane, you can apply special effect including "Gray", "Emboss" and "Old film" to the video.

Before exporting your project, you need to choose the output video format. You can either keep the original format, or convert it to another format as per you need. To set the output format, please locate to the "Profile" menu bar.

 
 
 

Step 5Trim, Merge MP4 Video Clips

You can always preview the video's final effects in real time. Once you are satisfied with the result, press the "Save" button to export your edited videos with ease.
